October 2010
Since I started sketching everyday, I've fallen increasingly in love with detail and especially the craftmanship and decorative embellishment of medieval crafts.
On a recent visit to France I admired the medieval city of Carcasson and the vibrancy of French markets, These details are starting to infuse into my clay work as well....
October was a busy month with Business Start up training, mentor meetings, delivering tea set making workshops and a presentation to Seaton Art History Group.
The highlight of the month was finding out that I'd been selected for the Craftscotland and Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh Exhibition Conserving Ecologies: Craft and Biodiversity running between 11th December 2010 and 20th March 2011.
